As a child, I wanted—in addition to becoming a carnival showman and a soccer commentator—to become a journalist and newspaper editor pretty early on.
After graduating from high school and while studying German language and literature and musicology at the University of Cologne, I spent every spare moment writing: whether as a freelance contributor to the Aachener Zeitung, doing internships at various media companies, or taking creative writing courses.
At the same time, the field of personal development and healing work piqued my interest: Initially driven by a personal crisis, I came across the topics of psychology and therapy early on—and eagerly absorbed all the knowledge I could find on the subject.
Through mentors and coaches, I was then introduced to bioenergetics, breathwork, and body therapy—and was once again captivated. Gradually, I began to sense that healing requires two things: understanding AND feeling.
I took a sabbatical to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain on my own and to reorient myself professionally. My old job was holding me and my creativity back too much, so I took the plunge into self-employment.
I started writing about my pilgrimage experiences on the Camino de Santiago blog and, at the same time, continued to educate myself in blogging, SEO (search engine optimization), and online marketing.
Back then, I had no idea that I would develop the blog—along with my YouTube channel, social media channels, newsletter, and eBooks—into one of the top resources for pilgrimage in the German-speaking world.
Now, in the spring of 2026, I’ve decided to let go of a few old web projects in the affiliate marketing space. I’d like to get back to working more directly with people—ideally in a field that truly excites and interests me personally—namely, holistic health.
That’s why, starting in the summer of 2026, I’ll be offering web design (as well as SEO and online marketing) as a service—I’d be happy to help you, too, if you need your own (new) website, or if you’re not getting enough customers and want your web project to rank higher on Google, ChatGPT, and other platforms.
